My name is Andrea Duff and I am the founder and lead writer of REVISE.  I have a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg School for Communication where I specialized in mass mediation of autobiographical stories. As a warm-up act, I earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and taught classes in public speaking, creative writing, oral tradition, and performance ethnography. In recent years, I've created and taught seminars like "How to Write Like a Human," ghostwritten personal speeches and blogs for business and higher education leaders, and edited all manner of corporate content. 

I believe firmly that you are living a story and can learn to tell it better.

Protagonists overcome challenges to achieve their dreams. Many need a little help. That's where I come in--a supporting character--to try to save the day. 

I offer my business services at reduced cost to select 501(c)3 organizations, teach free writing seminars, and assist several aspiring college students with their application essays pro bono each year.
